The Return of the Native

This is the story of a man returning to his native area from Paris and his fatal marriage to, Eustacia, the one woman in all of Dorset shire that he should not marry. She is too free-spirited and sensuous, while he is very solemn and wanting to settle and raise a family. The story infers of the belief that one impersonal force that controls us like destiny or fate.
